With a cast list as large and varied as The Luxe often misunderstandings occur, whether on purpose or not. My absolute favourite girl has to be Diana Holland. Brave and brilliant she is at the top of my list but not far down is definitely Lina. She is as clueless with fashion and trends as I am and I soon felt at home next to her. I thought the plot may be tiring, all about girls being horrible to each other but to my surprisement there was only one rich scandalous girl like that and she happens to be Penelope Hayes. Bossy and annoying, she evens out all the nice characters. She is definitely a warning sign. The writing is right in its time and you can feel the glitz in the air.With that gorgeous cover any girl will fall for this book and they wont be disappointed.
